

Celestia Audition Video How to Submit (35–45s)
1) Prep (1–2 min)

Camera: phone is fine. Shoot landscape (horizontal) 16:9, 1080p, 30 fps.

Framing:

Singers: chest-up or waist-up.

Dancers / Poi / Cosplay: full body, head-to-toe in frame.

Lighting: bright, even light; avoid backlight/windows behind you.
-
Audio (Singers): quiet room, track volume low enough that your voice is clear (no distortion).

Space (Dancers/Poi): safe distance from walls/people; clear floor. (Poi: practice rods OK—LED not required for audition.)
2) Make your ID slate (the sign)
On a plain sheet, write clearly and large:

(Use a dark marker. Hold it steady at chest level.)

3) Record
(keep total length 35–45s)

0:00–0:05 (5s) — Hold the sign to camera (fill the frame).

Optional: say your name + category while holding it.

0:05–0:40 (30–35s) — Your audition (one continuous take).​​

Poi: smooth basics or short combo (clean planes, control).
-
Cosplay: short character moment or skill pose sequence.
-

Dancers: a clean combo that shows musicality & control.
-
Singers: one verse + chorus (no heavy effects).
-
0:40–0:45 (up to 5s) — Quick “Thank you” or end clean.
Tip: If you go long, redo it. We can only accept 45s max.

4) Review & Export

Check: face visible, eyes open, audio clear, body centered, no cuts or filters.

Export as .mp4 (H.264), 1080p, 30 fps.

5) Name your file (exactly)

6) Upload

Click the “Upload Your Audition” button on this page.

Drop your .mp4 file into the uploader (Dropbox File Request).

Wait for the success/complete message.

Keep your original file until you get a confirmation email.

If you don’t see a confirmation within 24 hours, resend using the same filename.
